If I put an Uranium Ore sample (2000-6,000 CPM) in a cup of water with a frog, will the frog die?

I'm doing a science project and I got hold of a radioactive rock sample and I'm trying to show how deadly it is by poisoning a frog with it, but I don't know if the best way to do that is by putting the sample in water or just a plain container with the frog. Thanks!
