When God made a covenant to never flood the Earth again, did He leave open other methods of destruction?

They didn't have fine print back then, so anything that isn't written is a clear possiblity. God has been known to change his mind on occasion though. He did send himself to the world to be killed by us so that he could forgive us for killing him, among other sins. Who's to say he won't do it all again?
