Thinking of buying xbox 360?

I've recently started gaming again and I don't have a next gen console as of yet. I came a cross a used xbox 360 with Falcon Chip installed for 98 bucks. Just the console, no cords, controllers, or hard drive. The sellers feedback is 97.8 percent positive. Is this a good deal? Is it safe to buy from ebay?
