No, both are perfectly normal when born, ok, the unconscious half develops before birth, and the conscious after, but religion is a bronze age belief system, that is introduced to the mind when it is too young to defend itself. Religion is child abuse, and the sooner we grow out of it, the sooner we can move on. The problem with the world is that we developed weapons of m destruction before we developed the mental ability to look at the world in a clear and rational way.
