FSB on AMD motherboard?

Front side bus is the speed at which the processed data is sent from the processor to the memory. Naturally a faster FSB is better but only if the motherboard and cpu support it. The newer AMD Phenom processors have a 3000mhz FSB and those are very fast but they come at a cost of heat and increased power usuage.
