Why do the tea baggers and conservatives say a 3% tax on the rich is an attack on America but then take away?

RLP, the statistics you are quoting are the PROBLEM, not a situation to try to preserve. When 80% of the population do ALL of the actual work, and the top 5% are getting all the income, there's a MAJOR problem. It's not 'punishing success' to require corporate thieves to pay for the government services they use (and abuse).
