Cleaning Granite in Bathroom??

So we have black granite in our master bath, and I have a few spots where it is hard to clean. I am using some sort of "everday" granite cleaner that you spray on. The spots are around the hot and cold faucet where I ume its from water, and then there are two spots that look as if they go away once I clean with the spray, but reappear within a minute. HOW and WHAT do I use to eliminate these spots? Or am I just stuck? i thought granite was supposed to be relatively easy?!?! THANKS!
