What is 'connect to' on yahoo messenger?

When a romantic friend of mine looks at my nic name on her contact list it says that 'connected to tracy'. Of course she thinks there is something going on with someone else. I have no idea who tracy is. What is this and why does it happen? When I sign on with my sister's yahoo ID, my contact name looks normal on her contact list.
